Hi! My name is Chuck Charles and this is my website about the adventures of a couple of guys who are cycling across the USA from St. Augustine, FL to San Diego, CA this summer.

Adventure Cycling Southern Tier

You might be asking yourself, “Why?!”

My first answer is, “Why not?”

My second answer is, “Because I can.”

I will be on this adventure with a buddy of mine, Bob, who I met through my local bike group, The Withlacoochee Bicycle Group.

Together we plan to ride our bicycles, unsupported, from FL to CA. It should take us approximately 2 months. We should cover about 3,100 miles. We’ll be camping overnight as we go, and just enjoying this beautiful country of ours.
